Ram Amrit - the first devotional album from The Art of Living using binaural Soulbeats™.
The ability to modify brain waves came to the mass attention in the early 1970s. Probably the most well known is the alpha wave movement that gained popularity in the early 70s when scientific studies were done on Meditators who had the ability to control certain brain wave states like alpha. Since 1997 studies into this area have further contributed to growing evidence that through the use of binaural beats as an external process, the brain-waves can be changed to create beneficial therapeutic applications.
Ram Amrit produced by Nectarene Musik has been empowered with therapeutic SoulBeats™. The album has mellifluous bhajans sung by Dr.Arun Madhavan and Siddhant Bhatia. It is supercharged to provide slow, but deep healing on extended listening sessions.
This unique album which saw its launch in the hands of Poojya Gurudev on 13th May 2013 is now available online www.artoflivingshop.com

The festive season comes bustling with the nature giving its best. Warmth of the Sun shine, splendor of the blooming flowers a bountiful harvest no doubt brings celebration. Although known by different names like, Pongal, Makar Sankranti and Lohiri, these harvest festivals are a mark of gratitude for the abundance and Prosperity bestowed by Mother Nature. This is the time to honor the cow and cattle a grateful gesture for the untiring service they render to mankind. We all know that there is no Sunday for Sun God who transcends time and also the one who rotates the Wheel of Time and the harvest festival is the time to gratefully remember “Aditya - the Pratyakasha Devata” for his glorious divinity that blesses one and all tirelessly. The Lord Indra for the timely rains without which no vegetation is possible is also remembered with gratitude.
"Pongal is here, an occasion that marks joy and cheer, and brings along everything that's best. May the festival of the harvest season, be one that brings along with it, all that's best and everything you're so deserving of. Have a memorable Pongal."
This song was written by Shri.Prabakaran Sir and set to music and sung by Shri.Suresh Chandranji on 20.02.2002 and was sung at Dr.Arun Madhavanji's Satsang. After a long time I met Shri. Prabakaran Sir and this prompted me to present this video clipping. The depth of his devotion with which he has written the lyrics is amazing. The person sitting behind Shri. Sureshji with spectacles is Shri.Prabakaran Sir.
My pranaams to you Prabakaran Sir. Jaigurudev..
Lord Rama, the most pleasing incarnation of God, appeared on Rama-navami. He is known as Maryada Purusottama and is the emblem of righteousness. His life and teachings of morality in office are as relevant for us today as when He appeared nearly 20 million years ago.

Sikh Community Is Very Dear To Me: Sri Sri Ravi Shankar On #DilSeSewa Telethon
While speaking at the #DilSeSewa telethon, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Founder, The Art Of Living Foundation said that 'Sewa' is part of almost all traditions in the world. He added that the Sikh community which is known for its langars considers 'Sewa' as a very sacred act. He also highlighted the crisis faced by the daily wage workers who lost their livelihood during the COVID-19 lockdown and added that providing food to the hungry also provides reassurance to them that there are people out there who care for them and they are not alone.

Guru Purnima is a day when the seeker revises his journey. He reviews his journey from, what he has experienced in life and how many hurdles he has faced and crossed.
For a Seeker this is the day to review, re-dedicate and then rejoice in gratitude. These are the 3 things that Guru Purnima brings to you. The celebration is for re-dedication and rejoicing in gratitude
Every seeker have 3 modes that he goes through:
The first mode is pashu-bhava – the Basic Instinct.
The sadhak (seeker) wants to satisfy his basic instinct, his needs, to get rid of his misery, so he becomes a sadhak. A sadhak is seeking to be free, to get liberated. Liberated from what? From misery and lack. Lack and misery are what one wants to be free from. One wants to experience abundance. This you know when there is someone to take care of you, when there is the power, the divine, who is taking care of you. This Faith is pashu-bhava. It is the basic mode.
The first mode is confidence that there is someone who is taking care of my needs. I am concerned about my needs, right? When you know there is someone who is providing for you, then you are relax, you have comfort. If you have a dog at home, a horse, or other animals, the animals know their master is there and the master will provide for them. There is confidence and a certain loyalty for the master. That loyalty and confidence is the first mode of sadhak.
The second mode is veera-bhava – Valor and Conviction
The second mode of sadhak is vira-bhava or invoking the Valour within you. Life poses many challenges where things get shattered. In these moments, your confidence get shattered. You start doubting your own abilities. You start doubting your progress. You start doubting yourself and everybody else, which is a reflection of your own self-doubt.
When these turmoil come, when these arise in you, when you have the valour of ‘I will go through this. I will I will come out of it successfully. I will achieve this. Come what may,’ invoking that valour is the second mode of the seeker.
The first is Confidence and Faith. The second mode is Conviction and Valour to move on the path. ‘I will go through, come what may.’
The third mode is Divya Bhava – The Divine Power
And then the last one, the Divine power, when you feel total oneness with the divinity. Sacrifice and dedication in vira-bhava lead you to Divya-bhava, which is divinity.
What is divinity? It is when you see that everything is a game. The whole universe is just a play and display of consciousness. You are not shaken and not moved by anything whatsoever.
Nothing can take away the purity, serenity and the love that you are.
You know sometimes, we can say we are all love but others are bad. No. In divya-bhava, you see the role of everyone else also divine, not just yours as divine. You find every single role, whatever it is, as divine, as a game, as a play. That is divya-bhava
These are the three modes a sadhak moves in life as time progresses.

A Message of Gratitude
It is my good fortune that brought me into this knowledge in the
year 2000. Ever since I did the course my quality of life has been on a
continuous improvement. I am regular in my daily sadhanas at home and rarely did
I miss the weekly Sudarshan kriya until the Corona pandemic halted our weekly
follow-up classes a few months ago. As
an avid reader I used to read Guruji’s knowledge through the internet.
There has been a huge transformation in me, from insipidity to
energetic, from uncertainty to clarity, from conservative to open-minded and
from an introvert to an extrovert the change has been very amazing. The
transition from being a chain-smoker to a non-smoker was the turning point in
my life.
I also learnt that one need not be restless to prove that he is
dynamic. Similarly being contented is not a sign of lethargy. This knowledge
helped me change my attitude towards life which in turn helped me in my day to
day work enabling me to be unperturbed during times of crisis. As happens to
everyone in this world I too had some hard times which I could surmount very
easily with the Divine Grace of Guruji and HIS precious knowledge. Today I am a senior citizen living a
comfortable and peaceful life for which I will always be grateful to Guruji.
Now during these Covid-19 times, anxiety, fear and stress had
been invading every home throughout the World. Frustration, anger, insecurity,
fear, anxiety, disappointment etc., are prevalent the world over and people are
finding it difficult to lead a normal life in the lockdown. Fortunately with
Guruji guiding us through his online meditations twice a day and our regular
practice of sadhanas we are able to handle the situation and maintain our serenity.
For more than 100 days now without any discontinuity I have been enjoying
Guruji’s Meditation sessions and knowledge discourses. I am grateful to Guruji
for keeping me healthy, happy and content.
I had a passion for writing and wanted to publish a magazine
which got fulfilled with the help of Art of Living Faculty Sri. Durga Prasad
Dashji. With his encouragement and constant support I could pursue my passion
and together we created an E-Magazine in the year 2005.
We are proud to inform you that our Lighthouse E- Magazine
will be completing 15 years in a couple of months. We attribute this
accomplishment to the Divine blessings of Guruji that kept us going and
growing. I am grateful to Guruji for the gift of the company of some brilliant individuals
whom I met along this journey; all of them inspired, loved, encouraged and
brought the best out of me.
With tears of gratitude flowing down my eyes, I bow down in Sashtanga
Namaskaram to the lotus feet of Guruji in respect and gratitude for all those
wonderful things HE has showered upon me. This Gurupurnima gives me yet another
opportunity to renew my Sankalpa of spreading Guruji’s message far and wide
across the World.
Seeking HIS blessings and grace as always.

It took Govt.
3 years to arrest Hasan Ali,
2 years to arrest Raja,
6 months for Kalmadi
& one day to take action against Baba Ramdev. Shows the priorities of the Govt.
In Rajasthan GUJJARS' blocked Jaipur Highway for many days.
JATS blocked railway track 4 weeks that cancelled 1,000 trains.
Raj Thakre spread statewide hatred thus regionalism in Maharashtra, which lead to so many violent attacks for couple of months
No action-No Priorities.
But midnight crackdown on Ramdev's peaceful Satyagrah on 1st day itself. Because he's asking black money back. See what hurts our politicians most.
Today is Rama Navami.

Lord Rama, the most pleasing incarnation of God, appeared on Rama-navami. He is known as Maryada Purusottama and is the emblem of righteousness. His life and teachings of morality in office are as relevant for us today as when He appeared nearly 20 million years ago. Here is a small incident that happened in the life of a Rama Baktha Bhadrachalam Ramadas.
Gopanna (Bhadrachalam Ramadas) used to celebrate the Rama Navami utsav in a grand way every year. His wife herself cooked food for all the guests for she realized what an honour it was to cook for all these Sadhus. Therefore, she did not leave it in the hands of hired cooks but took it upon herself. It was late evening and Nama Kirtan was going on. Gopanna’s wife had prepared dinner for the guests. She put her little son Raghav to sleep and placing a lamp beside him moved to the place where Nama Kirtan was going on. It was her husband who sang which made it all the more interesting for her and they were all his kirtans. She was enjoying the kirtans and after a while, the mother she was, she moved to check her child.
But lo! the child was not to be found where she had put him to sleep. After she had left him, the child had woken up. The lamp had been blown out and being dark, the scared child searching out for the mother had reached the place where dinner had been prepared. The ‘kanji’ (starch) from the cooked rice had been filtered nearby on the floor and the child in the dark stepped on to it. He slipped and fell into the boiling hot ‘kanji’ and died. The mother searched for her little son and found the dead child. The wife of a great devotee of Rama she out beat her husband. She suppressed her grief and tears as the thought crossed her, “If I were to cry for my dead child Rama Navami utsav will come to a stop. This cannot be allowed to happen. The guests should be fed.” She wrapped the body of the child in a sack and placed it aside where none could see it. She then went about her work.
As soon as the Nama Kirtan was over she served food for all the guests. As they were being served one of the Sadhus asked Gopanna, “Where is your little son Raghav? I have not seen him around?” Gopanna looked questioningly at wife. She quietly took him aside and showed him the dead body of the child. Gopanna was also grief stricken; He was also astounded at his wife’s behaviour in such a situation. Meanwhile the Sadhus had gathered there and learnt about the incident. They, too, grieved over the mishap. Gopanna consoled them, "Rama blessed me with this child and He has now taken him back. The child has gone to a better place - to the Lotus Feet of Lord Rama. We should not cry over this!” However, the Sadhus said, “No, Gopanna! What will the world say? You are a Rama Bhakta. You are celebrating His utsava. The people will scoff at your Rama for bringing this upon you. This incident will bring a bad name to your Rama.” Saying so, all of them together prayed to Lord Rama pleading with him to restore the child to life. Just then a Yogi came in and enquired in a demanding tone, “What is happening here?” He was informed of the child’s death. The Yogi said, “Died? Who says the child is dead? He is not.” And tapping the child the Yogi said, “Get up!” and the child woke up! The Yogi quickly went out of the door. Gopanna who had followed the Yogi quickly saw the form of Kothandapãni Rama before he disappeared from sight. This only intensified his faith that the Lord was taking care of him in every way.

London, Aug 5 (ANI): The power of prayer really can help cure the sick, according to a new study.
A US team from Indiana University, led by religious studies professor Candy Gunther Brown, examined the effects of prayer in Mozambique and Brazil where spiritual healing for the blind and deaf is common.
In the African country, a woman named Maryam could not see a hand with two raised fingers from a distance of one foot. But a healer put her hand on Maryam's eyes, hugged her and prayed for a minute.
She then held up five fingers, which Maryam was able to count from the same distance, according to researchers, reports the Daily Express.
She went on to read the 20/125 line on an eye chart - meaning she had 40 per cent sharpness of vision, if judged against 20/20 or 100 per cent perfect vision. Other visually-impaired people also showed improvement after prayers, the researchers claimed.
The team also reported that two deaf subjects showed a 50 decibel improvement in their hearing after spiritual intervention. (ANI)

People always pray for a boy not for a girl....
blessings of elders are for male not for female...
but in need of wealth people pray to MAA LAXMI....
for success in education they pray to MAA SARASWATI....
for removal of tension they pray to MAA CHINTPURNI...
and
to escape form devil they pray to MAA KALI...
now tell me....
why do people hesitate to have a female in family??
while those whom they pray during troubles are females??
SAVE GIRL CHILD....
if you don't forward this message nothing will happen to you...
your life will be as normal as it is now....
but forwarding this message will surely spread the beautiful message of...
"SAVING THE GIRL CHILD..."
